Individually handcrafted in Bethlehem from aged olive wood tree clippings gathered during pruning, it offers a thoughtful aid for quiet prayer, reflection and meditation. The pruning process supports healthy tree growth, with no trees harvested or destroyed for the wood. Natural variations in the olive wood mean that each cross has its own colour, grain and character. Each Holding Cross is individually handcrafted from aged olive wood trees from Bethlehem. The wood used is from the clippings when the trees are pruned to promote healthy growth and environmental stability. No trees are harvested or destroyed in the harvesting of the olive wood. Variations are normal and enhance the unique beauty of the piece. The colour of each cross varies and no two are alike. Complete with meditiation booklet and gift-box.
