Holy Family Star Ornament

The six-pointed outer frame stands out for its dark, reddish-brown finish, and a deliberately irregular and pronounced texture, evoking tree bark and the warmth of Alpine nature. At its center, a circular hole encloses the Nativity scene: stylized and clean silhouettes of Mary and Joseph, bowed in adoration, beneath a stable topped by the Star of Bethlehem. The inner wood, a soft natural beige, offers a smooth surface that enhances the millimeter precision of the openwork carving.

This 10 cm ornament, perfect for the tree or home, is made following centuries of tradition. The finely crafted and detailed inner figures, despite their small size, are carved from maple wood, the preferred choice of Val Gardena master artisans for small to medium-sized works.
