Curved Maple and Lime Wood Cross, Val Gardena Artisan Sculpture

This Curved Cross is a hymn to the essentiality of faith and the sculptural mastery of Val Gardena. The absence of Christ's body emphasizes the power of the Resurrection, celebrated here through a pure geometric form, enriched by a distinctive detail: the horizontal element gently curves upwards, like a gesture of elevation or welcome.

Each piece reflects the authentic beauty of the wood, characterized by reddish-brown tones. The finish, which can be chosen between the sober elegance of Natural Maple Wood (N) or the intensity of Dark Patina (GD), enhances the stylized grains and knots, giving the cross a rustic and tactile texture, with a light but profound sheen.

True to our artisanal tradition, materials are carefully selected based on size to ensure maximum stability and aesthetic appeal. This sculpture is made of precious maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, appreciated for its fineness and compactness; for sizes larger than 56 cm, robust linden wood is used, ideal for ensuring the structural solidity of the most imposing sizes, up to 300 cm.
