Crucifix Modern Stylized Carved Wood Val Gardena

The Dolfi Stylized Crucifix combines traditional Val Gardena carving with a modern minimalist aesthetic. The abstract, clean-lined form retains the subject’s solemnity while encouraging quiet contemplation.

The elongated, slender figure of Christ is carved with a gentle curvature that suggests acceptance rather than pain; the stylised face lacks realistic detail to invite meditation. The body is finished in a light, warm wood polished to a mirror sheen, while the cross is finished in a dark, almost ebonised tone. A dark drapery at the waist blends fluidly with the overall design.

Handcrafted in the Tyrolean tradition, each crucifix is selected by size for durability: precious maple for sizes up to 56 cm and lime wood for larger sizes. Available in coloured and natural finishes, with an exclusive version carved from authentic Italian olive wood.
