Modern Abstract Maple Wood Cross from Val Gardena

The Modern Abstract Cross is a contemporary Val Gardena sculpture that explores spirituality through contrast and simplified form.

The main body is carved from Maple Wood with a satin, honey‑coloured finish that highlights its fine grain. Two side inserts of raw, rough-grained wood provide a tactile contrast, while the centre is defined by a stylised human silhouette carved in negative, arms open in a gesture of welcome.

Available in 16 cm, 24 cm, 32 cm and 48 cm; these sizes are made entirely of Maple Wood following Dolfi's artisanal tradition. An exclusive variant in Italian Olive Wood, noted for its deep veins, is also available. Finishes: C (coloured), GH (light‑patinated), U (olive) and N (natural).
