Risen Christ the King Statue on Cross – Handcrafted Wood Sculpture Val Gardena

This sculpture depicts Christ the King Risen by the Val Gardena school, presented in a welcoming, blessing pose. Christ is placed on the cross rather than nailed to it, emphasising triumph and peace rather than suffering.

The coloured finish shows a rich burgundy outer mantle edged with a thin gold-leaf border, contrasting with the solid wood cross and its natural grain. The serene expression, open eyes and direct gaze convey tranquillity and hope.

Dolfi quality: carved in the alpine tradition. Material varies by size — maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, lime wood for larger sizes. Available in coloured (C), natural (N) or three shades of brown (3G). Suitable for churches, chapels or domestic devotion.
