Risen Christ, Handcrafted Painted Wood Sculpture

Risen Christ sculpture by Dolfi’s master sculptors, shown upright and frontal with a serene face framed by a well-groomed beard and long brown hair. The figure wears an ivory-coloured tunic with subtle pink and blue hues; the left hand is raised in blessing while the right rests on the chest displaying the wound in his side, with stigmata on hands and feet.

Coloured finish enhances natural skin tones and the garments, sealed with a matte varnish. Handcrafted in Val Gardena; sizes up to 56 cm are carved from fine maple, larger sizes from linden wood for increased durability and fidelity.
