Statue of Saint Jude Thaddeus Carved in Val Gardena Wood

A statue of St Jude Thaddeus crafted in the Val Gardena sculptural tradition, depicting the saint in a calm, upright pose wearing an olive-green tunic and brown drapery. Pictorial detailing recreates the textures of the fabrics and captures a moment of serene contemplation.

Artisan carving and careful application of colour define the bearded face and the vivid flame rising from his head. The sculpture is offered in a range of finishes and sizes to suit different sacred spaces.

For sizes up to 56 cm the piece is carved from maple wood; larger dimensions are carved from linden wood, preserving lightness and artistic definition in more monumental works. This is a Dolfi sculpture.
