Saint Aldegundis of Maubeuge with Crozier and Book

Saint Aldegonda is depicted in a contemplative pose wearing a monastic habit with ample, voluminous folds and an oil paint finish that highlights the carving. The golden crosier and rosary cross provide bright accents against the sober brown habit; details such as the barefoot stance and the facial expression are carefully rendered.

Carved and hand‑finished by master sculptors from Val Gardena, this statue reflects South Tyrolean craftsmanship and tradition. It is available in several sizes: made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and lime wood for other sizes, with the same quality of carving and finish.
