St. Cecilia, Patron Saint of Music Statue with Organ | Wood Carving from Val Gardena

Hand-carved in the Val Gardena tradition, this Saint Cecilia sculpture portrays the Patroness of Music in a calm, contemplative pose with lowered gaze. Sizes up to 56 cm are carved from maple; larger sizes are in prized linden wood, each piece individually made.

The figure is shown in abundant folds: an emerald-green outer robe with glossy gilded border and lacquered finish contrasts with a pale-pink undergarment and natural flesh tones. Saint Cecilia holds a finely modelled instrument with light-blue pipes to her chest; two red books with gilded edges rest at her feet on a multilayered dark-wood base.

Available in finishes C (hand-coloured with oil paints and gilded details), N (natural wood) or 3G (three shades of brown). Each statue is a unique devotional work.
