The figure is sculpted in a posture of quiet welcome, with the body draped in a gown with ample dark folds that enhance its volume and movement. Her gaze, lowered and sorrowful, reflects the deep spirituality of the saint, while her right hand is raised in a gesture that may indicate a silent blessing. The chromatic contrast is vibrant: the sobriety of the gown (available in "colored" and "three shades of brown" finishes) is broken by the luminosity of her face and bare feet – a symbol of humility – and by the bouquet of red roses, an emblem of the miracle of winter blooming. Every detail, from the knotted rope at her waist to the discreet rosary, is expertly painted and patinated by hand.
