Lying Ox in Maple Wood

The Lying Ox from the Dolfi collection is a wooden nativity figure shown at rest, head raised and slightly turned to convey a calm, solemn expression suitable for traditional scenes.

Its body is finished in warm golden-brown or caramel tones with darker details on the mane, hooves and muzzle. The stocky horns taper to black tips and the forms are soft and rounded, giving a stylised, non‑hyperrealistic look typical of Val Gardena carving.

Handcrafted in our workshop and carved from precious Maple Wood, it is available in sizes from 8 cm to 16 cm. Choose from coloured Maple Wood (C), natural Maple Wood (N) or Maple Wood with three shades of brown (3G).
