Camel with Saddle in Maple Wood

Carved by Val Gardena sculptors, the piece shows a pronounced texture on the hump and back contrasting with a smoother finish on the neck and legs. The load is richly detailed: blue‑green rolled objects, a large ochre‑coloured bundle and a faux‑leather saddlebag with a stylised floral engraving; straps and buckles are carved with meticulous precision.

Made from Maple Wood, the preferred material for small and medium sculptures for maximum definition. Available in Coloured (C) finish or Natural Wood (N) to enhance the grain — suitable for historical Nativity scenes.
