Shepherdess in Maple Wood

A sculpted shepherdess, gently reclined, gazes towards a basin brimming with gifts — suggestive of freshly baked bread and harvested fruit. Earthy, warm tones and a medium‑warm brown garment with deep, antique folds accentuate the figure's carved wings and soft drapery.

Hand‑carved in Val Gardena from precious maple wood selected for its fine grain and durability, suitable for small, finely detailed work. Available in sizes from 8 cm to 16 cm.

The coloured (C) finish contrasts the pale blue‑grey basin with yellow‑orange gifts; a light patination gives a slight sheen that enhances the wood grain and imparts an antique effect. Also available in N (natural wood) and 3G (three shades of brown) finishes.
