Nativity Crib with Angel - Maple Wood

Combines the Val Gardena sculptural tradition with a modern interpretation of the Nativity: an arched structure serving as a stylised "stable", hand‑carved by Dolfi for clean, precise forms.

Compact sizes 8–16 cm. The composition is carved from precious maple wood, chosen for its fine grain and its ability to hold the purity of the stylised forms.

Finishes create the contrast: the large arch has a satin, iridescent bronze‑copper metallic finish; the angel’s body is left natural wood with visible grain, while the wings are painted a bright, smooth gold. The face is omitted to emphasise a static, contemplative, decorative presence.
