Rustic Linden Wood Stevia Stable for Christmas Nativity Scenes

The Capanna Stevia is a small Alpine-style stable for nativity scenes, hand-carved in the Val Gardena tradition from precious limewood. Its deliberately rustic, primitive look recreates a humble refuge for the Holy Family while remaining compact and scenically authentic.

Mounted on a solid base, the structure has simple walls and a double‑pitched roof of rough planks and bark‑covered sticks, with natural moss, dry straw and small twigs on the roof and base. Inside is a semicircular manger filled with hay. The piece is left untreated (no paint or staining) to highlight the texture of the raw wood, making it suitable for handcrafted nativity displays.
