St. Cecilia, Patron Saint of Music Statue with Organ | Wood Carving from Val Gardena

Handcrafted in the Val Gardena tradition, this sculpture of Saint Cecilia, Patroness of Music, shows the saint in a contemplative pose with her gaze lowered. She holds a musical instrument with light-blue pipes to her chest; at her feet lie two red books with gilded edges on a multilayered dark-wood base.

The figure is carved with abundant folds and a rich palette: a deep emerald-green outer garment with glossy gold border and lacquered finish contrasts with a delicate flesh tone and pale-pink undergarment.

Available in three finishes — C: hand-coloured with oil paints and gilded details; N: natural wood; 3G: three shades of brown. Made from maple for sizes up to 56 cm and from precious linden for larger sizes; each piece is individually crafted.
