Saint Dorothy, Hand-Painted Wooden Statue, Val Gardena Craftsmanship

Admire the composed figure of the Statue of Saint Dorothy, carved in the Val Gardena tradition. She stands upright in a devout pose, wearing an emerald green robe with a metallic-gold draped cloak; her calm, slightly downcast expression and the basket of flowers she holds mark her iconography.

The polychrome finish is hand-painted and sealed with a semi-gloss varnish to enhance colour and depth while preserving fine detail in the drapery and features.

Made by Dolfi’s master artisans: sizes up to 56 cm are carved in maple wood; larger sizes are in linden wood, chosen for their suitability to different scales.
