Hand-Carved Wooden Saint Florian Statue from Val Gardena

This carved statue of Saint Florian, made by Val Gardena artisans, shows him in splendid armour with a feathered helmet and a gold‑lined burgundy cloak. He gazes calmly at the flames at his feet, which engulf a small dwelling, while a white sinuous object in his left hand symbolises the water that conquers the fire. The figure is hand‑painted with rich pigments — vivid red flames, metallic silver armour and warm wood tones.

Available coloured, natural or in three shades of brown and offered in a range of sizes up to 200 cm. Pieces up to 56 cm are carved from precious maple wood for fine detail; larger sizes (to 200 cm) are produced in linden wood for greater stability.
