Saint Juliana Wooden Statue Val Gardena

This carved statue of Saint Juliana, in the Val Gardena tradition, shows the saint in a calm, regal pose wearing terracotta-red and gold robes. Detail work includes a simple crown, decorative bodice patterns and a contemplative expression, all executed in fine wood carving.

At her feet is a small dark figure of evil, restrained by a silver chain held in the saint’s hand — a deliberate iconographic contrast. The piece has a hand-painted finish that adds lustre and depth to the colours, especially in the coloured (C) and three‑tone/antique (3G) variants.

Each sculpture is unique and carved by master artisans. It is made from maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and limewood for larger sizes, and is available in coloured (C), natural (N) or three‑tone/antique (3G) finishes, offering durability and fine definition.
