Saint Rita of Cascia is shown in quiet contemplation, head slightly tilted and eyes downcast. Her clasped hands hold a small crucifix; a small red mark on the forehead evokes the stigmata associated with her devotion.
Handcrafted by sculptors from Val Gardena, the monastic habit is carved with natural folds that catch the light. Pieces up to 56 cm are carved from precious maple wood; sizes over 56 cm are made in robust linden wood.
Available finishes: coloured wood (C), natural (N), three shades of brown (3G) or olive wood (U) for the olive-wood version.
