Saint Ursula Guide and Martyr, Hand-Carved Wood Statue from Val Gardena

The sculpture depicts Saint Ursula in flowing, realistically carved drapery: a burnt orange/terracotta cloak over a teal tunic, with a finely modelled face and contemplative gaze. She wears a golden crown and holds the symbols of her martyrdom — an arrow and a palm — with gold leaf or metallic paint accents on the dress edges and crown that catch the light. The statue sits stably on a multi-layered wooden base.

Hand-carved in the Val Gardena tradition, each piece is finished to highlight detail. Materials: precious maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, linden wood for larger sizes. Finishes available: Classic Coloured (C), Natural Wood (N) and Three Shades of Brown (3G).
