Hand Carved Wooden Statue Saint Adolph Bishop with Crozier – Val Gardena

The sculpture of Saint Adolph, Bishop, presents a contemplative figure in pontifical robes of burgundy and midnight blue with gilt detailing. He holds an open book—a symbol of divine wisdom—and a gilded crozier; a thick dark beard and serene expression complete the iconography.

Carved by Val Gardena artisans, every fold of the stole and mantle is modelled with precise carving to create depth and subtle plays of light, reflecting a long regional woodcarving tradition.

Made of maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm and of fine linden wood for larger sizes. Available in finishes C (hand-painted with the traditional palette), N (natural) and 3G (three shades of brown).
