Wooden Sculpture of Saint Francis of Assisi with Wolf, Lamb, and Dove

Sculpture of Saint Francis of Assisi shown in a calm, contemplative pose: a dove rests on his raised hand while the wolf of Gubbio and a lamb lie at his feet. The coarse habit is depicted with cinched cord and rosary bearing the Tau cross; the stigmata are visible on his hand and chest.

Each piece is hand‑carved following the Val Gardena tradition. Variants up to 56 cm are carved from fine maple; larger sizes from 56 cm use robust linden. A precious version in authentic Italian olive wood is also available.

Available with a classic oil‑coloured finish that emphasises the earthy tones of the Franciscan habit. Materials and carving ensure good detail fidelity and long‑lasting resistance.
