Statue of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux in hand-carved and hand-painted wood

Admire the serene statue of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, cast in the Carmelite habit in a pose of humble contemplation with her head slightly tilted. She holds a bouquet of roses, symbolising her promise to “let fall a shower of roses,” and a small crucifix representing her deep faith.

The polychromy is entirely hand-painted, using brown and cream tones to give depth and realism to the voluminous folds of the habit. Carved in the Val Gardena tradition, the statue is offered in coloured (C1/C2), natural (N) and exclusive Italian olive wood (U) finishes.

Made to Dolfi standards: variants up to 56 cm are carved from precious Maple Wood; from 56 cm upwards the sculpture is carved from sturdy Linden Wood to ensure stability and fine detail in larger pieces.
