Michael the Archangel Statue

This sculpture captures the climactic moment of the celestial battle, depicting Archangel Michael in his definitive triumph over evil. The figure's face remains serene and composed, gaze slightly lowered as he watches the defeated demonic figure beneath his heel.

Carved with fine detail, it features large, richly layered gilded wings, anatomical armour with silver and gold finishes, and a cloak in vibrant antique red that contrasts with the dark, earthy tone of the vanquished figure.

Made in the centuries-old Val Gardena tradition, the sculpture is crafted from precious maple for sizes up to 56 cm and from sturdier linden for larger sizes. Available finishes: polychrome (C), natural (N), three shades of brown (3G) or Italian olive wood (U), suitable for both sacred and domestic settings.
