O/L of Consolation Pendant
Several stories surround the formation of Our Lady of Consolation. One has a church built in honor of Her by Italian immigrants. Another stems from St. Monica’s prayer to Her for her “wayward” son. Another has Robert the Magnificent praying to Her to halt a storm impeding a voyage, which succeeded.
