The Angel in Bark sculpture by Dolfi is a wooden figure that pairs smooth carving with raw natural bark. The central body and rounded head are left in the natural bark of selected branches, preserving their texture, vertical striations and dark, earthy tones.
The wings are hand-carved from precious maple — the species we use for all pieces under 56 cm — finished matt to showcase the light colour and visible grain. The result is a compact, contemporary object that combines rustic material contrast with a simple, protective form.
