Stylized Christ "Ascension" in Hand-Carved Wood from Val Gardena

A stylised Christ sculpture that reinterprets the traditional corpus into an abstract, dynamic form, suggesting release from the cross and an upward gesture of openness and ascension.

The main finish (3G) combines warm golden-brown and polished-bronze tones with darker accents that emphasise the spiral movement; the smooth, satin surface reflects light to give the piece an ethereal lightness.

Hand-carved in Val Gardena by Dolfi master sculptors. Sizes up to 40 cm are in maple wood, suitable for fine detail and finishes such as gold leaf (CV) or coloured lacquers (CB, CR, CW, 3G, N). The 60 cm variant is in robust linden wood. Italian olive wood (U) is also available for its distinctive grain and symbolic value.
