The Body of Christ on a Curved Cross is a finely executed wood carving portraying the final moments of the Passion, emphasising the humanity of the sacrifice with restrained realism.

Detailed anatomy — ribs and muscles — is carefully modelled and enhanced by a coloured finish: dark red accents mark the stigmata, crown of thorns and spilled blood against a pinkish‑beige skin tone. The reclined face with closed eyes conveys surrender and invites contemplation.

The curved cross is natural, rustic wood with visible veins and grooves; a bright gold "INRI" scroll sits above the head. Hand‑carved and finished in the Val Gardena tradition, the figure is in maple for sizes up to 56 cm and in linden for larger sizes to ensure stability and durability.
