During both Advent and Lent there is one Sunday that has that liturgical colour of rose rather than Purple. During Lent, the pink Sunday is called "Laetare Sunday" and is the fourth Sunday of Lent.
The red candle is lit on Palm Sunday, symbolising Christ's sacrifice and death.
Sold in packs of 6, 4 purple, 1 rose and 1 red. Each candle measures 7/8" x 10".
