Hand-Carved Wooden Statue of Our Lady of Lourdes in Val Gardena

The statue of Our Lady of Lourdes shows the Virgin in serene contemplation, hands joined in prayer and head slightly bowed. She wears a cream-white dress and veil with a blue sash at the waist; the rosary hangs at her side and there are gold-coloured bands at the ankles. Two red and green sculpted roses adorn the base.

Fine details are finished with hand-applied gold-coloured paint. Each statue is hand-carved and hand-painted by master artisans from Val Gardena, following a centuries-old tradition.

Available in a range of sizes and finishes — vibrant colour, natural and exclusive Italian olive wood. Statues up to 56 cm are carved from precious maple, larger sizes from linden wood, each piece unique and built for lasting stability.
