Lourdes Madonna Statue: Work of Faith and Sacred Handicraft Val Gardena

The Our Lady of Lourdes sculpture shows the Virgin standing with hands clasped in prayer and her gaze slightly inclined downwards. Her cream-white dress and mantle are set off by a blue sash and subtle golden trim on the folds; a delicate rosary of light wooden beads with a golden cross hangs from her clasped hands.

Crafted from precious fibreglass (vetroresina) for durability and fine definition, it is available in 60 cm, 80 cm and 100 cm sizes for large indoor or robust outdoor display. The figure stands on a sculpted rocky base from which two red roses emerge, and each piece is entirely hand-painted by Val Gardena artists.
