Hand-carved Lourdes Madonna statue in maple and linden wood

Madonna of Lourdes statue from Val Gardena. The Virgin stands with head slightly bowed and hands joined at the chest, wearing a long creamy-white gown gathered by a deep blue band. Delicate gold profiling highlights the edges of the veil and gown; the base, simulating the rock of Massabielle, features two roses in soft pink and peach.

Hand-carved in the Dolomite tradition: sizes up to 56 cm are crafted from maple for finer detail and long-term stability; sizes 60 cm and above are made from lighter linden wood, better suited to larger sculptures. Available finishes: traditional colouring (C) and natural wood with gold thread (NV).
