Our Lady of Lourdes with Saint Bernadette Carved in Val Gardena Wood

This majestic sculpture captures the mystical essence of the Apparition of Lourdes, a moment of pure faith crystallized in wood. The composition features two female figures: the Immaculate Conception, tall and slender, dressed in ivory and celestial hues with a subtle golden trim, and young Saint Bernadette, kneeling in prayer and reverence.

The detailing is sublime: the drapery of the garments falls with soft elegance, the hands are clasped in prayer, and the faces express profound serenity and contemplation. At the feet of the Virgin, two sculpted roses and the inscription "LOURDES" on the base complete the scene.

Crafted according to the centuries-old sculptural tradition of Val Gardena, this statue is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. It is available in the 'Painted' (C) finish, which enhances the delicate pastel colors and luminosity of the figures, or in the 'Natural' (N) finish, which celebrates the vibrant grain of the wood.

In line with high quality, the choice of wood varies according to size: the model is carved from fine maple wood for sizes up to 56 cm, while the more imposing sizes (from 56 cm up to 200 cm) are made from robust linden wood, ensuring stability and detail at every scale.
