Crouching Ox - Maple Wood

A crouching ox for your nativity scene, shown in a relaxed pose with legs folded and head raised. Entirely carved from maple wood — preferred for small sizes such as this 10 cm model for its fine grain, detail retention and durability — each piece is handmade, sanded and hand‑painted in the traditional Dolfi style.

The ox’s head is fitted with a magnet system so it can be easily detached and reattached for storage and transport. This also makes the figure a safe, creative toy for children to handle and play with.
