Sculpture of Saint Eva of Liège in Fine Val Gardena Wood

Statue of Saint Eve of Liège carved in an upright, contemplative pose with a slightly inclined head and downward gaze. She wears a monastic habit with pronounced folds; warm brown tones from dark sepia to light hazel bring out the wood grain, with white detailing on the wimple and headband.

Crafted in the Val Gardena tradition: sizes up to 56 cm are carved in maple, larger sizes in limewood. Each piece is hand-painted and fine elements such as the hanging cross and the small book are carefully finished.

A sacred, finely made devotional statue suitable for the home or as a gift for name days (Saint Eve) and other special occasions.
