This sculpture of Saint Rita of Cascia pairs traditional sacred form with a contemporary minimalist aesthetic. The tall, hieratic figure wears a monastic habit in a warm, earthy dark brown, with subtle highlights on the folds that enhance the three-dimensional effect.

Lines are deliberately pure: the face is smooth and featureless, inviting a universal contemplation of faith. The only explicit details are the clasped hands holding a simple wooden crucifix and the side rosary, directing focus to the act of prayer.

Hand-carved with millimetric precision by master artisans of Val Gardena. Available in several woods — coloured or natural maple, coloured ash and rare Italian olive wood. Sizes up to 56 cm are produced in maple (fine grain for detail); sizes from 60 cm upwards are carved in linden wood for greater stability and presence.
